CPU Limitations of GTA 6

Leadbetter highlights that even with the PS5 Pro, achieving 60 fps on GTA 6 will be tough due to the CPU limitations. While the new console boasts a 45% GPU power increase, the CPU remains similar to that of the standard PS5, meaning the game might still target 30 fps on this platform. The engine of GTA 6 will have to handle a city full of complex simulations, including AI routines and physics calculations for pedestrians and traffic, which will strain the processor.

Despite this, the PS5 Pro will offer enhanced visuals for GTA 6 without guaranteeing a 4K 60 fps experience. Leadbetter explains that players can expect more stable performance and visual enhancements, but not necessarily a significant framerate boost.
