Can’t wait for The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom? Fans of the series will soon discover new elements of the kingdom of Hyrule, as Nintendo revealed the game’s map at an exclusive event.

Slated for release on September 26th, this new adventure features Princess Zelda as the main protagonist. She must rescue Hyrule and Link from Ganon’s clutches using a new magical artifact: the Triforce Staff. Nintendo also announced that the release will coincide with a special Hyrule-themed Switch Lite edition.

What Does the Map of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Look Like?

The map of Echoes of Wisdom, revealed during the event, features familiar locations from the kingdom of Hyrule. Fans will recognize landmarks such as Hyrule Castle at the center and Kakariko Village to the west, notable for its iconic windmills. Other points of interest, such as the Great Deku Tree and Kokiri Forest, also seem to be present, evoking the design of Ocarina of Time.

An intriguing location is Lon Lon Ranch, which fans believe they spotted in the game’s trailer. Situated southwest of Hyrule Castle, this beloved location from previous games appears to be making a comeback. If the map of Echoes of Wisdom follows the topography of games like Ocarina of Time, the Gorons and their mountain might be located just behind Kakariko Village.

A Highly Anticipated Launch

September 26th will be a special day for Zelda fans. Alongside the release of Echoes of Wisdom, Nintendo will launch a special edition Switch Lite, dubbed the Hyrule Edition. This console will include 12 months of Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack, granting access to several classic Zelda titles.
