Curious about the first errors spotted in the GTA 6 trailer? Grand Theft Auto fans have recently uncovered a few slip-ups that went unnoticed for months. It seems the wait for the GTA 6 release date is driving them to dissect every pixel.

For a few years now, Rockstar Games has kept tight-lipped about the development of GTA 6. For the longest time, the game’s existence wasn’t even officially confirmed. It wasn’t until after a series of massive leaks that the studio finally dropped the first trailer at the end of 2023.

This much-anticipated trailer finally introduced main characters Lucia and Jason, as well as the setting of Leonidas. However, since the release of this trailer, Rockstar has once again gone silent, pushing fans to scrutinize every tiny detail in search of hidden clues or mysteries in GTA 6 they might have missed initially.

Errors Found in the GTA 6 Trailer

Recently, some keen-eyed fans have identified errors in the trailer. A Reddit user known as iWillRe1gn spotted a non-player character (NPC) stuck in a “T-pose” in the shadows during a scene where a car performs donuts.

  • Lighting: Light leaking through a roadside barrier in a scene where Lucia and Jason are in a convertible.
  • Textures: Low-quality textures on the left side of a bridge in a Miami Keys-style scene.
  • Scenery Details: A store in the right corner of a scene that appears to have a simple image as its interior.

Some of these errors are seen as evidence that the trailer is indeed generated by the game’s engine and not pre-rendered. Another Reddit user highlighted that these details strengthen the notion that the sequences come from real-time gameplay rather than mere cinematics.

As for a second trailer, rumors suggest it might drop before the end of 2024. Rockstar’s parent company, Take-Two Interactive, remains confident about a fall 2025 release for the game.
