While there’s still much to do—the official update is anticipated with Patch 14.19—Riot wants to ensure they have ample time to hit their balance goals, starting with some significant ADC nerfs in Patch 14.17.

When Will Patch 14.17 of League of Legends Be Released?

League of Legends Patch 14.17 will go live on Wednesday, August 28, following the game’s 2024 update schedule. Here are the key update times for Patch 14.17:

On update day, you can expect several hours of downtime. As always, matchmaking will be disabled in all League queues three hours before the update.

AP Senna Nerfs

AP Senna has been almost unstoppable on Summoner’s Rift since her buffs in Patch 14.16. With a win rate hitting 52.24%, it was inevitable that nerfs would be necessary to restore balance.

Buffs for Ranged and Melee Supports
