Release Date and Available Editions
“Star Wars Outlaws” officially drops on August 27, 2024, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Players can choose from the Gold Edition at $109.99, the Ultimate Edition at $129.99, or the Ubisoft Plus subscription at $17.99 per month. The Standard Edition will be available three days later on August 30, priced at $69.99.
This single-player game offers an immersive experience, setting it apart from titles like “Star Wars Battlefront” or “Star Wars Squadrons.” Players will step into the shoes of Kay Vess, an outlaw trying to find her place in the Star Wars universe.
Planet Exploration and Early Leaks
Players can explore five iconic planets from the Star Wars universe: Tatooine, a moon from Toshara, Akiva, Kijimi, and Cantonica. These open worlds are roughly equivalent in size to two or three regions in “Assassin’s Creed Odyssey,” and can be traversed in minutes using a speeder.
This isn’t the first time “Star Wars Outlaws” has faced leaks. In July 2024, a 13-minute gameplay sequence appeared online, fueling both excitement and spoiler anxiety among eager fans.
