The studio is working tirelessly to fix the problem and pass the necessary bug-detection tests. Game Science plans to announce a new release date once the game is approved. For now, it’s reported that the Xbox Series X|S version of Black Myth: Wukong is “close to being ready.”

Already Available on PlayStation 5 and PC
Black Myth: Wukong was released on August 20, 2024, for PlayStation 5 and PC. This action-role-playing game, inspired by the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West, offers a unique gaming experience with “soulslike” elements. Players control a monkey protagonist named the “Destined,” based on Sun Wukong, equipped with a magical staff, the Ruyi Jingu Bang, that can change size during combat. The staff offers three stances: strike, pillar, and thrust, allowing for various combat strategies.
