Exciting Schedule and New Formats for Valorant’s 2025 Season

Bangkok will kick off the year with the first Masters, followed by Toronto for the second. This leak also unveils major changes in the competitive format of Valorant for 2025, giving fans a glimpse of what Riot Games has in store for the upcoming year.

  • Kickoff Tournament: Similar to 2024, the season will start with a Kickoff Tournament featuring teams from each international VCT league. This double-elimination tournament will determine which teams advance to the Bangkok Masters.
  • Masters Bangkok: Only the top two teams from the Kickoff Tournament will secure their spot for this prestigious event.
  • Stage 1 VCT: Teams will compete in the first phase of the VCT leagues, aiming to qualify for the Toronto Masters.
  • Stage 2 VCT: The second phase begins after the international tournament, disregarding results from the first phase. This significant change from 2024 means teams must perform consistently throughout the year to qualify for the World Championships in Paris.

Teams will need to push harder during Stage 2 to qualify for the World Championships in Paris, marking Valorant Champions’ second appearance in Europe after the 2021 edition.
