A fan of GTA 6 recently criticized the game’s trailer, pointing out various errors but was quickly put in place by a Rockstar engineer. This incident, which went viral on social media, highlights the immense anticipation surrounding the game, despite its expected release in 2025.

Since the release of the first trailer last December, fans of the series have been eagerly waiting for new details. Some impatient enthusiasts meticulously analyze every scene of the trailer to spot technical flaws. However, these observations haven’t convinced everyone, especially the game’s developers.

Rockstar Developer Responds to Trailer Criticism

A Reddit user shared a post titled “Rockstar dev roasts GTA 6 Countdown,” which garnered nearly 8,200 upvotes. This post refers to a tweet in which a fan lists the “errors” in the trailer. These included details like Lucia’s hair not moving correctly and missing shadows in certain scenes.

Zara Naveed, an associate engineer at Rockstar, responded with a touch of humor: “Breaking news: a video game is actually… a video game.” This ironic comment quickly gained popularity, earning nearly 6,000 likes, and was supported by many other fans in the community.

This isn’t the first time GTA fans have shown such meticulousness. Some of them have even recreated the trailer by incorporating main characters from GTA 5 or filming their own versions in real-life locations inspired by the game.

Other Developers Step In to Defend Rockstar

Another developer on X (formerly Twitter) responded to the GTA 6 Countdown account, indicating that criticisms aimed at the trailer are completely ridiculous because they are voluntary compromises to adapt GTA 6 to consoles.

I work in the video game industry, and I can tell you that what I see here is completely absurd. You are blaming Rockstar for systems they have specifically designed to ensure this game runs properly on consoles, whereas the real issue lies in hardware limitations. It is perfectly acceptable to acknowledge these constraints, but do not confuse them with errors. These are necessary compromises.

Speculations on the Second Trailer of GTA 6

While Rockstar remains tight-lipped about upcoming announcements, fans are already speculating about the release date of the second trailer. A popular rumor suggests it could arrive in October, but no official confirmation has been given yet. However, it would make sense for Rockstar to release this trailer by the end of the year, aligning with their communication strategy.

In the meantime, discussions and theories continue to heat up forums and social media, further amplifying the anticipation for what promises to be one of the most expensive and ambitious games in video game history.
