Gamers playing The First Descendant are currently facing major issues with their weapons jamming mid-action. This bug affects both console and PC users, making the shooting gameplay challenging and frustrating for a significant portion of the community.
Although Nexon has been quick to fix previous bugs, this persistent weapon issue threatens to slow down the game’s progression. Many players are also reporting difficulties with the double jump, further aggravating the experience.
Weapon Issues in The First Descendant
On Reddit, numerous players have reported that their weapons won’t fire when pressing the trigger button. This bug is so widespread that the post garnered over 700 upvotes and nearly 250 comments within hours. Initially, players thought their controllers or mice were faulty.
At first, some thought this bug was related to Bunny’s Light Speed skill, but other players reported that this issue also affects different Descendants, making it hard to pinpoint the cause to specific character skills.
This new complication adds to a series of issues already faced by the The First Descendant community, such as costly microtransactions, over-the-top seasonal challenges, and difficulties in unlocking new characters like Hailey. With over 70% of players having abandoned the game since its launch, the overall frustration continues to rise.
The Future of The First Descendant
Despite these setbacks, the development team is actively working to resolve these bugs. Nexon has been quite proactive with patches, and hopefully, a fix or update will come soon to address these problems. However, this series of incidents is testing the patience of players and could impact the future of the game.
