Fans of The First Descendant will have to wait a little longer for the next update. Nexon, the developer, has announced that there will be no patch next week, but assured players that there is no cause for concern.
Nexon has been fully committed since the game launched, constantly listening to community feedback and making adjustments accordingly. While updates have been frequent, the producer confirmed there won’t be an update next week, signaling a brief pause in this fast-paced rhythm.

No Update for The First Descendant Next Week
While there’s no update scheduled for next week, Nexon has nonetheless released patch notes for 1.1.2b, with significant adjustments to Ultimate weapons, though these changes are temporary. Additionally, Nexon confirmed the arrival of multiplayer mode for Invasion dungeons as well as test servers, where players can sign up.
While awaiting these exciting additions, nothing will happen next week. The producer took time to explain why and assured players that the second major update of Season 1 will arrive on schedule.
A Message from the Producer on X
Lee Beom-jun, producer of The First Descendant, announced via a message on X that there will be no update next week due to the Chuseok holiday celebrations in Korea, from September 16 to 18.
He added that the team has been working tirelessly since the game’s launch, and this break will allow developers to rest and come back even more energized to improve the game.
The producer also confirmed that Nexon is sticking to its release schedule for the second major update of Season 1, set for October 10. This update will notably bring Freyna Ultimate into the game.
