Hunting Down Free Valorant Points: Simple Tips and Tricks

Are you on the lookout for ways to score some free Valorant Points? Look no further! We’ve gathered the top methods currently available that are both effective and super easy to implement. Just follow our guide, and you’ll be rolling in free VP in no time.

A few days back, we talked about how Riot started this tradition with League of Legends players, and now they’re bringing the same love to Valorant fans. You can get free Valorant Points by submitting your fan art to Valorant support. Whether it’s a simple sketch or a full-blown mural, Riot will thank you with bonus VP. You can request a specific amount if you have a goal, but keep it reasonable and make sure your art is relevant to your request. Remember, the amount you receive will be at the discretion of the support member you talk to and generally won’t exceed 50 VP.

The easiest way to get free Valorant Points is by participating in contests across Riot Games’ social media channels. So make sure to follow them on Twitter, Instagram, Discord, YouTube, and Facebook. This way, you’ll stay updated on various contests and easily snag some free Valorant Points.

Plenty of Ways to Score Free Valorant Points—Just Invest a Bit of Time

Riot has shown repeatedly that their community is invaluable to them. They put in a lot of effort to engage players with contests, amateur esports competitions, brand partnerships, streamer giveaways, and rewards for the most active community members.

VFX Contests on Valorant and League of Legends

Among the various contests hosted by Riot, the Riot Games VFX Contest 2023 offered a whopping 70,000 VP as the first prize. The contest involved creating VFX effects for spells, projectiles, and area-of-effect explosions for LoL, Valorant, or Project L. The winner was Jia Yu Lin with a stunning effect on League of Legends. You can check out the submissions on the contest page.

Brand and Streamer Partnerships

Riot offers a special partnership for League of Legends Riot Points in collaboration with Microsoft. By using Microsoft products (like Edge and Bing), you can earn points to spend in Microsoft Rewards.

This offer isn’t yet available for Valorant, but Microsoft Rewards can also unlock Amazon gift cards (up to $90). Amazon is one of the distributors of Valorant gift cards, making it a simple way to get free VP easily.

Given the recent partnership between Xbox and Riot—especially with Valorant integrating into Xbox Game Pass and coming to consoles—we can expect to see free Valorant Points on Microsoft Rewards soon. Valorant partnership with Xbox

Community Contributions

Fan art isn’t the only way to get free VP. If you enjoy creating content for Valorant, things like cosplay, songs, and voiceovers can also earn you free points.

Streamer Giveaways

Some streamers give back to their communities by offering free Valorant Points and Riot Points. For example, iEat from YT on Valorant and Slipix on League of Legends often host giveaways. Stay tuned to catch these giveaways, but more importantly, support your favorite small streamers and YouTubers. Who knows, they might blow up with your support and eventually shower you with VP as a token of gratitude.

Amateur Tournaments Are Still A Thing

If you’re skilled at the game, the Valorant community frequently organizes amateur tournaments on sites like ChallengerMode. Much like League of Legends, the Valorant community is fiercely competitive, and it’s not uncommon to find tournaments offering some free VP for the winners. Some Discord servers also host such tournaments.
