Hoping to play Star Wars Outlaws on Xbox Game Pass? Sadly, that’s not an option at launch. This highly anticipated game in the Star Wars universe, developed by Ubisoft, won’t be part of the Game Pass catalog right from the get-go.

Xbox and PC gamers are often eager for new Game Pass titles, but Star Wars Outlaws won’t be one of them at its debut. This means fans will need to buy the game separately to dive in on day one.

Will Star Wars Outlaws Be on Game Pass?

Star Wars Outlaws won’t be available on Game Pass at launch. But for those looking to access Star Wars Outlaws without buying it outright, there’s another option: the Ubisoft+ Premium service. This subscription costs $17.99 per month and grants access to premium editions of new Ubisoft titles from day one, including the Star Wars Outlaws Ultimate Edition.

Why Isn’t it on Game Pass?

The main reason is clear: Star Wars Outlaws is one of the biggest games of the year and comes from Ubisoft. The developer has opted to maximize launch sales rather than include it on Game Pass initially. It’s the first open-world game in the Star Wars franchise, making it a significant release for Ubisoft.

Even though it won’t be on Game Pass right away, that doesn’t mean it will never be. Ubisoft might reach an agreement with Microsoft a few months post-launch, allowing the game to join the service’s catalog.
