In the early hours of playing Star Wars Outlaws, you’ll come across a fascinating item called Gorak’s Ring. This ring is not just valuable, but its description sets it apart from other in-game objects, as it can either be sold or kept for potential future use. This choice can confuse players who aren’t sure whether to sell or keep it. To help you make the right decision, here’s our guide on Gorak’s Ring in Star Wars Outlaws.
Keeping the ring and selling it later won’t affect your reputation with the Pyke Syndicate, but returning it to Gorak will improve your relationship with the syndicate. In Star Wars Outlaws, the Pyke control much of the game’s space, so maintaining good relations with them is often beneficial. The choice is between immediate cash or a reputation boost with the Pyke Syndicate. Each option has its pros and cons, but now you have the information to make an informed choice!
Sell or Keep Gorak’s Ring in Star Wars Outlaws?
In your first encounter with Gorak, after infiltrating his suite during the “Underground” mission, your companion Nix steals the ring from this Pyke leader. The ring will appear in the “Valuables” section of your inventory—a section dedicated to items you can sell to any vendor, as well as those useful for crafting. Although the ring is listed among valuable items, it’s actually marked as a quest item. Unlike other quest items, this ring can be sold for 500 credits.
With 500 credits, this ring offers a decent sum, particularly in the early stages of the game. Plus, selling the ring won’t impact your reputation with the Pyke Syndicate. Therefore, if you need quick cash, you can sell it without concern. However, if you’re more patient, it might be wise to keep the ring until your next encounter with Gorak at the end of the “False Flag” mission. During a cutscene, you’ll have the choice to return the ring or keep it.
