Riot Games will soon release the Aperture bundle in both Valorant and Valorant Mobile.
What is Valorant Mobile?
Much like League of Legends: Wild Rift, Riot Games is aiming to expand the Valorant universe to more platforms, including consoles and mobile devices. In 2024, the game debuted on consoles with crossplay, paving the way for a highly anticipated mobile version.
Anna Donlon, Executive Producer of Valorant, stated that the goal is to ensure Valorant remains true to its competitive roots while expanding its audience. Valorant Mobile aims to deliver the same tactical FPS experience as the PC version but adapted for the constraints and specifics of smartphone gaming.
Release Date for Valorant Mobile
Riot Games has yet to confirm an official release date for Valorant Mobile. However, the recent launch of a beta in China offers a glimpse into the game’s development, and a global release might be closer than we expect.
Porting a AAA game to mobile is an ambitious challenge, and Riot appears to be taking its time to perfect this adaptation. The Chinese beta has allowed some players to get a sneak peek at the game, but no specific release date has been announced for other regions.
Valorant Mobile Gameplay Leaks
In early September 2024, gameplay footage from the Chinese beta leaked, giving us a first look at the game on mobile. The user interface has been redesigned for touchscreens, but the gameplay remains true to the PC version, which should delight fans of the title.
According to the leaks, the game could run at 120 FPS on some Android and iOS devices, ensuring optimal fluidity for players. Skins from the PC version will also be available, alongside a new replay system integrated into Valorant Mobile to review matches and analyze statistics, a feature long requested on the PC version.
