Valorant is now live on consoles! For those of you who have invested in those precious cosmetic skins on the PC version, the big question remains: will they transfer to consoles? The answer is simpler than you might think. No matter the platform, Valorant will use the same Riot Games account.
So yes, all your Valorant gear will seamlessly follow you from PC to console and back. This is especially comforting when you don’t know how to get free Valorant Points and you’ve already spent a fortune on the latest skins.
But it’s not just your cosmetics making the jump. Riot Games has thoughtfully enabled cross-progression for Valorant accounts. This means your account progression, skins, Battle Pass level, and Valorant Points will all be shared between the console and PC versions.
Seamless Transition Between Valorant PC and Console Versions
To use your PC skins on consoles and vice versa, all you need to do is link your PlayStation or Xbox account to your Riot Games account. Once linked, all your combat experience and purchases will be accessible across both platforms. However, Riot has clarified that the player ladder for PC and consoles will remain separate: you’ll have to complete your placements when launching the game for the first time on a console.
