The highly-anticipated ranked mode for Black Ops 6 is here, giving players the perfect chance to climb the competitive ladder by following the official Call of Duty League (CDL) rules.
Details were shared during the COD Next 2024 event, and here’s everything we know so far. Treyarch has confirmed that the ranked mode will launch at the start of Black Ops 6’s first season. Since the game releases on October 25th, the first season is expected to kick off in November.
This is the first time a ranked mode is launching this early in a Call of Duty game, as previous titles typically introduced this mode in the second season or just before. We’ll update this section as soon as an exact release date is revealed.
What to Expect from Ranked Mode in Black Ops 6?
Since Black Ops Cold War, Treyarch has been the main developer behind the ranked mode in Call of Duty games. So, we can expect to see similar features in the new game.
The ranks will likely stay the same, ranging from Bronze to Iridescent, with a Top 250 leaderboard. The SR format and the ranking system should also be similar. Although we don’t yet know which game modes will be included in the competitive rotation this year, classics like Hardpoint and Search and Destroy are safe bets.
