It’s official: the console release of Valorant might have just spelled the end for Concord. Fans of Firewalk Studios’ game recently got a major update regarding the game’s future. After closely listening to community feedback since its launch on PlayStation 5 and PC, the studio has decided to pull the game from platforms starting September 6, 2024. While some aspects of the game were appreciated, others did not meet expectations.

As a result, sales of Concord have been immediately halted, and a full refund will be offered to all players who purchased the game. For those who bought it on the PlayStation Store or via PlayStation Direct, the refund will be issued back to the original payment method. Players who bought the game on other platforms like Steam or Epic Games Store will also receive refunds, with specific communications for each regarding the refund processing.

Refund Options and Access to Concord

Here’s what you need to know about the refund process:

  • Steam Store: Players will receive a refund in the coming days, confirmed by an email from Steam once the process is complete.
  • Epic Games Store: A similar refund will be issued to players, with direct communication for each affected customer.
  • Other Retailers: For physical purchases, customers will need to refer to their retailer’s refund policy.

Once the refund is processed, players will lose access to the game. Refunds for purchases on the PlayStation Store or PlayStation Direct may take up to 60 days to appear on your bank statement.

Firewalk Studios remains committed to finding the best path forward for Concord. Thank you to all players who explored the Concord galaxy with us so far. Stay tuned for new updates.
