Apex Legends Mid-Season 22 Patch: Balancing Changes
Gold Weapon Rotation
- Mozambique Akimbo, P2020 Akimbo, EVA-8, VK-47 Flatline, G7 Scout
Gameplay Updates:
- Added a new announcer voice line to signal loot crate resets, increasing game clarity.
- Reduced spawn rates for high-value items (backpacks, gold accessories, etc.) post-reset.
- If a loot crate is opened right before a reset, its contents will automatically be ejected onto the ground, allowing players to collect desired items instead of losing them.
Legendary loot crates will now contain fewer gold items due to a more balanced distribution system. Additionally, the chances of getting legendary weapons from “loot ticks” have been increased, while white and blue rarity accessories are removed.
Weapon Changes in Apex Season 22
Havoc Rifle: The Turbocharger has been removed as an attachment for this weapon, a major change that will affect its combat efficiency.
R-99 SMG: In care package mode, long-range damage has been reduced, with better recoil management for improved precision.
Moreover, the amount of ammo that appears with each weapon has been adjusted to always be a single “brick” but with twice the previous amount of ammo.
Legend Updates in Apex Season 22
Valkyrie: Now classified as a recon legend, with several buffs to enhance her maneuverability and the reliability of her jetpack abilities. Her missile attack gains a 20% increased explosion radius and an improved firing rate.
Revenant: His Shadow Shield’s health is reduced to 50 from 75, and activation time is doubled, making his defensive capabilities less formidable.
